Wireless Web Cam Defined: A wireless web cam is used when wires cannot be run, or when you want to move the web cam from location to location. For example, if you had a baby, you would want to move the web cam location. While maybe you cannot run a camera across a 200 foot parking lot without a lot of expense.

Two Types

1. Camera on power of electrical grid.

2. Camera ran on batteries.

Of the two, some are made to be monitored on the Internet, these usually have a USB dongle with antenna, and are plug and play to your computer.
